First Stop, Rite Aid
My first stop of the morning was Rite Aid. My first transaction was for the P&G Rebate. Buy $25 worth of select P&G products, get a $5 Rite Aid Gift card. You can see below the items and prices in the pictures. I spent a total of $10.17 ($11.59 after tax). My total before coupons was $26.67 so my total savings was 62% before rebate or 81% after rebate!
My second transaction (mostly because I forgot to get these in my first transaction) was these two Neutrogena Men’s shave creams. They were the last ones left on the shelf! They were $4.99 each but there was a $3/1 coupon in the ad and also a $2/1 printable coupon so I got them free! The best part is that my subtotal was negative two cents! I love it!!
Second Stop, Smith’s
So I decided that the deals I got a Smith’s Friday night were just too good so I went back for more. I got two more Olay products, cleansing cloths and a facial scrub. They were on sale for $6.49 and I had coupons for $5 off so each one was only $1.49. I got Two Old Spice body washes with bonus mini deodorants and two Old Spice deodorants. I used two buy one body wash, get one deodorant free coupons and two $1 off Old Spice coupons. I also had eCoupons loaded onto my Rewards card. I got $3/2 Old Spice deodorants and $3/2 Old Spice body washes. That gave me $1.42 in coupon overage! YAY! I also used a coupon for buy one Scrubbing Bubbles toilet get, get one fresh brush starter kit free and a $2/2 Scrubbing Bubbles to get the pair for $1.49 (the eCoupon for this didn’t come off but I’m hoping an email to the company will fix this). And I also got some South Beach bars for $2.79 (also had an eCoupon that didn’t come off… stay tuned to see if Smith’s will fix the situation). Total before coupons, $40.11. After coupons, $7.34 ($10.07 with tax) for a total of 82% savings!
As a bonus, on my way out of Smith’s I found this Catalina in the parking lot! I sure wish I would have found that before I went to Rite Aid to use in my scenario above, but oh well. I am sure that I will find a use for it!
I also discovered that I needed gas on my way out of Smith’s so I decided to use my fuel rewards to get 15 cents off per gallon. Yes, that’s right, I used a coupon to buy gas!
Final Stop, Walgreen’s
My last stop of the day was Walgreen’s. I did the same scenario that I wrote about Friday night, just wanted to use up my coupons before the sale ended.
Not a bad day of shopping if I do say so myself. Now to prepare for Sunday shops and new sales!!
